Landfall Lodge Bed and Breakfast welcomes you to our modern, purpose-built home at the beginning of the Kauri Coast in Kaiwaka, Northland.

Located approximately half-way between Auckland and the Bay of Islands and only 3 mins from SH1, Landfall Lodge is a good place to break your journey north or as your final night in New Zealand. Relax on our extensive deck and enjoy the panoramic views over rolling farmland, our tranquil surroundings and watch the magnificent sunsets.

Landfall Lodge B&B offers our guests 2 rooms 1 queen and 1 twin. They both have tea and coffee-making facilities alongside comfortable beds with Egyptian cotton sheets and electric blankets. Guests are encouraged to share our home and enjoy our warm hospitality.

 

About Us

Your hosts, Adrienne & Arnold, have spent many years at sea including an 8 1/2 yr circumnavigation. We visited out of the way places, such as Chagos, the British National Park in the middle of the Indian Ocean ;Mayotte; Zanzibar; Kenya; Eritrea; Cape Verde Islands; and the Galapagos Islands. We had many wonderful experiences and enjoyed exceptional hospitality from a wide range of people.

Now it is our pleasure to share those gifts by welcoming other travellers to our home.

We have created Landfall Lodge, a 10 acre property with lots of new challenges including some young beasts and a feijoa orchard.

We enjoy gardening, reading, writing, walking, travelling and meeting people, being involved in community things, and Adrienne will soon return to her painting.
